This was a 2014 fall project. It involved the removal of an existing 12X20 additions that was put on to the original house in the 1960’s. We had to hammer away at ledge for the foundation, which had its challenges due to the tight lot and the proximity of the neighboring houses. We added a family room, powder room, laundry room, and pantry on the first floor and gutted and enlarged the kitchen which is located within the original home’s footprint. On the second floor we added a master suite and a kids bath. The new kitchen included soapstone counter-tops, a storage unit featuring glass-paned doors, and even a dining alcove for the family pet. The cabinets were custom made by Advanced Custom Cabinetry.
